Welcome to Metro San Antonio Living

You’ll find information supporting the “climate” of this multi-cultural metropolitan area. San Antonio is home to the two most popular Texas attractions, the Alamo and the RiverWalk, also the NBA champion Spurs, performing arts including the San Antonio Philharmonic, Opera and Ballet. And visual arts anchored by local live theatre, the Museum of Art, McNay Art Museum, the Witte Museum, the DoSeum Museum, and a multitude of art galleries throughout the metro area.

On the business side, the last fifteen years have proven to be a watershed for San Antonio. Healthcare and the biosciences take center stage, owed in large part to major research being conducted at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research and a host of other companies including those in the “tech” field, many newly arrived. Tourism has had a profound effect on the city’s business make-up, and manufacturing, in the last eight years owing in large part to the arrival of Toyota and its satellite companies, moves the Alamo city high up the ladder. And we have always counted on the presence of the military, for many years a boon to this city and metro area’s economy.

Check back often. San Antonio is in constant motion. And if we haven’t answered your questions here, email us at info@metrosanantonioliving.com. Our aim is to help acclimate you to this city on the move.
