Olmos Park (pop 2,400), an upscale community is situated at the intersection of Hildebrand and McCullough Avenues, just four miles north of San Antonio, incorporated in 1940. Known for its’ park-like setting, surrounded by an abundance of oak-tree lined streets and large estates, the city is a very pleasant place to live.
The city was developed in the 1920s as an upscale suburb of San Antonio and today still plays that part. In addition, it “hosts” Trinity University, a nationally renowned university, and is a “neighbor” of the city of Alamo Heights, where much of the useful retail Olmos Park residents avail themselves of.
School-aged children attend Alamo Heights ISD public schools.
